Parking at the Breckenridge Nordic Center is limited. On days when it is filling up, remaining spots are reserved for those with lessons, tours, and reservations only. Busiest times and days are weekends, holidays and Holiday Travel periods around Christmas and New Years (Approximately December 16th-January 3nd). On site Parking is free for 3 hrs or less. Additional parking time can be purchased at the front desk. There is absolutely no downhill skier parking at The Breckenridge Nordic Center! Parking is for on site guests of the Breckenridge Nordic Center. A $100 fine and towing are strictly enforced. To allow for snow removal, parking is not permitted in the lot on snowy mornings before 8am. Additional parking is available at the Airport Lot at 1730 Airport Road. Free buses are available from Airport Road to the Gondola and then the Gondola to the Breckenridge Nordic Center (Black Route). See www.breckfreeride.com for additional details.
What about vehicles with nordic and downhill skiers?
We often have guests parking at the nordic center with mixed skiers. We highly recommend, for the simplicity of everyone, that downhill skiers be dropped off first before cross country skier park at the nordic center. The ski area has a free 15 minute skier drop off area right at the base of the peak 8 ski area. This saves everyone the hassle of hauling heavy downhill skis to a bus stop to wait for a bus that is often full by the time it gets to the bus stop. This also saves us the challenge of confronting your vehicle to ensure that parking regulations are being followed. Our parking staff is required to confront any vehicle parking with downhill skiers to ensure that nordic guests are skiing with us and keys are being left with paying nordic guests.
