How long will it take to cross country ski or snowshoe?

Most people come cross country skiing for just 2-3 hours.  Because both cross country skiing and snowshoeing are athletic activities we recommend spending just a couple hours on the trail.  Don’t forget, you can park for free for 3 hrs or less.  Additional parking can be purchased for a small fee at the front desk.  Once your have your equipment in hand, we recommend heading out on the trails for about an hour to an hour and a half then, take a break, enjoy our lodge, grab some food or a hot beverage and then hit the trail again.  To make the most of your experience, plan to grab a hot or cold beverage after returning your skis and enjoy our pro shop which always has beautiful clothing, gifts and expert ski equipment advise or cozy up with a loved one in front of our large stone fireplace.  If you take a cross country ski lesson  or a guided snowshoe tour, plan about 90 minutes to grab your gear and head out with your instructor or guide.  Remember that there are no bathrooms on the trail system so make sure you plan ahead and use the bathrooms at the main lodge.
