Guided Snowshoe Adventures are great for all ability and age levels, offered 4 times daily and some evenings, especially before, during and after the Full Moon monthly.  Adventures are 1, 2 and 3 hours long by day and 2 hours in the evenings.  More hours may be also added to Adventures by choice. 

It is not necesary to hire a guide for your Snowshoe Adventure, as you may enjoy taking a Self-Guided trip using our mapped and well marked trails.  Many people enjoy going alone, or with their small group of friends, and the trials are friendly!

A guided Adventure offeres you the chance to go with one of our local and knowledgable Interpretive Instructors to learn about the mountains, woods, National Forest, wildlife and other historic or mining facts about Summit County, Colorado.

Child Pulk Sled are available for rent for young children and toddlers with no Adventure fee for those riding along with their adult chaperone’s.  We arrange each adventure outing to fit your needs, desires and create trip routes based on each groups ability and goals. 

Some folks like a scenic picture outing, while others prefer a more vigorous hike…either way your sure to enjoy the wooded mountains of Summit County, Colorado.  Often we hike to destination mining cabins for a snack or lunch stop. 

We provide an Interpretive experience of the neighborhood wildlife, animal tracks, snowshoe trails and surrounding historical sites.  This is a wonderful way to get into the mountains and get away from it all for an hour to half a day.  You may also navigate the Snowshoe mapped and clearly marked trails on your own Self-Guided Adventure anytime from 9 am - 4 pm daily.

GUARANTEED LESSONS & ADVENTURES are offered to ensure your ski lesson enjoyment. If you are not fully satisfied we will refund your lesson fee 100%.

• We also offer Evening Snowshoe Adventures per request. They are two hours in length, for the price of 1 hour and are usually offered from 7-9 pm.
• Moonlight cycles may cause an adjustment in the times throughout the season.
• Please arrive at the BreckenridgeNordicCenter at 7 pm for your rental fitting and orientation.
• Rentals are an additional price.

All Adventures include snacks, drinks, in incredible history of Breckenridge and the surrounding area.  Each guide will give you a unique interpretive experrience with information on the local ecology and geology of Summit County, Colorado. These adventures are more than just a snowshoe hike…they are an experience from the beginning to the end.
