The Roundtec 9000 Log Lathe is just like the Lincoln Logs you played with as a child, only better.

News Update

As of today October 16, 2006, our permanent home of operations for Breckenridge Timber To Log is at the Summit County Resource Recovery Park in Dillon, Colorado

We can provide the training necessary to help people safely operate the Roundtec 9000 Log Lathe machine, and enjoy the process of creating their own log cabin and decorative log accents.  Gene and Therese Dayton are the Roundtec 9000 Log Lathe exclusive dealers in Colorado.

So far, folks seem very impressed at how quiet the Log Lathe is, and how fast it turns a dead tree into a beautifully smooth finished product.  The cutting blades remove the infected bark killing the larvae and the ironing blades finish the log with a cope notch and saddle notches creating a product just like the Lincoln Logs you played with as a child.  “You dreamed of building great things as a child, this is your chance to prove yourself with the real thing.”

We appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about our new family venture to combat the Mountain Pine Beetle issue and turn (no pun intended) the diseased Lodge pole Pine resource into a usable log product for our Breckenridge Timber To Log customers.

Let us know if we can be of further assistance over the next days and weeks.

Thank you, Gene and Therese Dayton

Breckenridge Timber to Log features a Roundtec circular sawmill from Finland that features a carriage with a patented sliding technique, hydraulic log dogging, hydraulic plate guides and an advanced log and lumber handling system. It also offers low noise, as well as safety and ergonomic features. The economical Roundtec Log Lathe (www.loglathe.net) produces logs for log homes, milling them to any length up to 30 feet, and up to two feet in diameter, all in one process. The one-person lathe produces even thickness or tapered logs, as well as performing dowel drilling and corner notching, all in one operation.
